John Eick, Chairman
John Eick is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he studies Political Science, Public Policy, and History. Previously, he served as Chairman of the College Republicans chapter at UNC-Chapel Hill during the 2009-10 academic year.
John’s responsibilities as state Chairman include presiding over meetings of the Executive Committee, appointing committee chairs and Federation staff, directing the administrative operations of the Federation, and representing the Federation at all N.C. Republican Party Central and Executive Committee meetings.

Austin Shrum, Co-Chair
Austin Shrum is a senior at Wake Forest University where he studies Political Science and Economics. Hailing from Southlake, Texas, he currently serves as Chairman of the College Republican chapter at Wake Forest.
Austin’s responsibilities as state Co-Chair include advising the Chairman, presiding in the absence of the Chairman, and overseeing the activities of the Federation upon a visit by the President of the United States to the state of North Carolina.

Bethany Greene, Executive Vice-Chair 
Bethany Greene is a junior at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she studies History and Psychology. She currently serves as Chairwoman of the College Republican chapter at UNC-Wilmington.
Bethany’s responsibilities as state Executive Vice-Chair include overseeing the activities of the Federation pertaining to the election of all Republican candidates running for the North Carolina General Assembly and maintaining good relations with members of the body.

Anthony Riccio, Administrative Vice-Chair
Anthony Riccio is a junior at Appalachian State University where he studies Accounting. He currently serves as Chairman of the College Republican chapter at Appalachian State.
Anthony’s responsibilities as state Administrative Vice-Chair includes supervising and organizing the organization of new College Republican groups and the strengthening of existing clubs and coordinating the activies of the Regional Directors.

Aaron Dancy, Treasurer
Aaron Dancy is a junior at North Carolina State University at Raleigh where he studies Chemical Engineering. He currently serves as Chairman of the College Republican chapter at NC State.
Aaron’s responsibilities as state Treasurer include receiving, disbursing, accounting for all Federation funds and preparing all State and Federal finance forms, and assisting in the raising of money for the Federation.

Tristan Artman, Secretary
Tristan Artman is a senior at Western Carolina University where she studies Political Science, International Studies, and German. She currently serves as Chairwoman of the College Republican chapter at Western Carolina.
Tristan’s responsibilities as state Secretary include recording and circulating minutes of all meetings of the Executive Committee and maintaining press relations for the Federation.

Benjamin Lynch, Immediate Past Chair
Benjamin Lynch is a graduate of Wake Forest University where he studied Political Science. He served as Chairman of the NCFCR during the 2009-10 academic year and as Chairman of the College Republican chapter at Wake Forest during the 2008-09 academic year. He currently teaches Chemistry in Cleveland, Mississippi in the Teach For America program.
Benjamin’s responsibilities as state Immediate Past Chair include offering guidance and support to the Federation’s Executive Committee.

Jason Sutton, Executive Director
Jason Sutton is senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he studies Political Science. He currently serves as Administrative Vice-Chair of the College Republican chapter at UNC-Chapel Hill and served as the NCFCR Co-Chair during the 2009-10 academic year.
Jason’s responsibilities as state Executive Director include receiving reports and credentials from clubs, providing general assistance to the Chairman, and aiding in the day-to-day operation of the Federation.

Catherine Nuzum, Political Director
Catherine Nuzum is a junior at Salem College where she studies Studio Art and Art History. She currently serves as Chairwoman of the College Republican chapter at Salem and as the state Chair for Students for Burr.
Catherine’s responsibilities as state Political Director include aiding the Federation in its implementation and mobilization of assistance for all political campaigns across the state.

John Gillespie, Finance Director
John Gillespie is a senior at High Point University. He currently serves as Chairman of the College Republican chapter at High Point.
John’s responsibilities as state Finance Director include raising planning and implementing a fundraising strategy for the Federation and maintaining good relations with donors.
