As the only designated liberal arts institution in the 16-campus University of North Carolina system, we serve students who are prepared for academic challenges by offering an intellectually rigorous education that builds critical thinking and workforce skills.

Students with a broad range of interests can select from 30 majors at UNC Asheville, where they’ll get a private school education at a public schools price. Our students develop a strong sense of social responsibility through service learning and volunteer activities. They take part in learning far beyond the traditional classroom with internships, study abroad and diverse cultural opportunities.

About the Chapter:

To make known and promote the principles of the Republican Party among members of the UNC-Asheville campus and community, to increase the number of GOP voters on campus, and to provide politically like-minded individuals with social opportunities. To aid in the election of Republican candidates at all levels of government. To encourage and assist in the organization and active functioning of the Republican party at local, state, and national levels. To develop political skills and leadership abilities among Republican students as preparation for future service by them to the Party and community.
